Learning Space Perspectives
Throughout her employment with McLellan Bush Architects Madison has worked on a variety of different sized educational projects, being responsible for projects ranging from master planning, to refurbishments, to new school buildings. She has focused her professional life on learning space design, with a sub-speciality on the effects of colour in learning environments, and the impact that colour can have on enhanced learning outcomes.
Madison was a judge for the 2019 LEA awards and is currently a mentor for SONA (Student Organised Network for Architecture). In 2018 Madison represented McLellan Bush Architects as part of the LEA Europe Study Tour. During the tour Madison visited over 15 educational facilities engaged in progressive discussions and critiques regarding how Australian educational architecture compares and stands up to those witnessed overseas.
